note from the webmaster - Thanks to John Longo for taking these pictures from the front side of the racetrack, giving us a feeling for what it's like for the spectators in Taif. I especially appreciate this view since as a mature woman I am not allowed in the paddock or grandstand area during the races in Taif, although young girls are allowed to come over with their fathers, and a few do show up. When the new grandstand is finished a "family section" will be available so the ladies can watch the races from the grandstand.
